History in the making

So recently there has been alot of buzz around town, the buzz is due to the fact that carrarras (local concrete and rock people) has been delivering the large preformed concrete parts for the infamous court street bridge. this last week they had to bring big (100 foot, 80 ton) beams down merchants row, alledgely they couldnt take them around court square (redneck roundabout in front of midd inn) so in order to move them down merchants row they had to build a "jump bridge" on top of the existing overpass over the railroad tracks. These are the photos that i took to illistrate this event for the battell files, and tenants who didnt have a birds eye view.

The bridge was constructed to redistribute the enormous weight of the beams.

There were about 8 beams that went buy this one was the only one that i took pictures for.
this is where everyone begins to hold their breath.
Still holding our breath
The truck making the corner was really something.my stomach was FULL of butterflies, all i could think was this thing is gonna tip and take out 25% of the building, would my insurance cover that? Definatly.
